Yeah well I’m 15 and I see some people at my school who look amazing and I wonder, “How do they do it?” Like what in their minds triggers a thought to buy this to match with that. So I was wondering is there a site that I can go to so I can find the latest fashions. For example one outfit I like is Jeans, White Aeropostale shirt with design on it (Not the HUGE Aeropostale name on it, I hate those), and some White Nike Blazers. I just want to know where do I go to stay on top of fashion, I don’t like preppy clothes unless I’m going to church. So can anyone help?

international student and us law schools?

Hello

I would like to find out what are some of the possible careers paths for an international student who's applying to several top school in the US, hoping to obtain a double degree in business and law. Which area of law would you recommend? I'm pretty much interested in patent laws, especially in fashion. Is it a good choice?

Also, would it be extremely difficult for foreign students to get accepted into US law schools and practice law in the US? I'm aware that laws largely depend on which area you are practising it, let's say I specialize in fashion patent laws (doubt theres such a term!), must i practise it in the state i studied it?

Side note: I'm taking the GCSE A levels as well as SATs. Will A levels results affect my application to US universities? What subjects should I take for SATs and A levels to maximize my chances?

I would concern myself with getting into law school before I decide what branch of law you want to practice. Are your SAT scores going to count—OH YES! GCSE I haven't heard of, might be after my time.

my friend just got accepted there but her aunt just told me that she was going to the top school in London and I would really like to know where she is going

Its likely to be St.Martins.
though to be honest, most industry employers, (I used to be one) cringe when they St.Martins on a CV, & much prefer London School of fashion, as graduates tend to be a bit more down to earth, & realistic about expected wages, & level of employment for their first job……the fashion industry works in the way, that once you have graduated…you THEN start you're apprentiship.

They dont just seem to teach that at St. Martins, which is a shame, as I'm sure most of the students there are very talented.

i have a school dance coming up(the theme= winter wonderland) i don't want to be over-dressed(as in a dress) but i wanna look cute(impress my date) so…what shud i wear(include shoes, make-up, and hair). btw, i am 5ft 5 inch. relly dark brown hair, tan skin, and i am skinny. pleeeeez help!!!!!!!!!!!! i am open for suggestions from guyz and gals!!

I wouldn't call myself a fashion expert, but I have learned a lot in the past 9 years since my high school graduation. I don't want to specifically give you a color theme because even though you gave us somewhat of a description, it should be a personal choice.
You should go with a short skirt, one to 1/2 inch above your knee, with winter boots, (uggs or something that compliments the skirt); the skirt shouldn't be tight but flowy, kind of puffy but not too much. The top should be something you feel comfortable in but not too revealing. It should be one solid color, not anything with a pattern.
I think you should wear your hair down, make it softly curly so it frames your face, ( can't tell you more because don't know face shape).
Make-up, don't over do it in this department. Too much make up never looks pretty. Define your eyes with mascara, and eyeliner, but smudge the eyeliner with a brush so it doesn't look sharp. You can play with color of the eyeliner and the eyes, but something light to complement your skin tone. Get a book from the library, (bobbi brown, cindy crawford) and that can help you if you don't have much experience with make up. With lipstick I would disregard and use a tinted lipgloss or a clear lipgloss with a lip liner(that you would put on your lips, totally filling in the lips, never just outlining the lips).
